Frank Sinatra first appeared on film as a band singer in Las Vegas Nights then featuring in three RKO musicals followed by three iconic MGM musicals starring Gene Kelly who became a star of classic Hollywood.
In the 1950s Sinatra won an Oscar for his role in From Here to Eternity and then starred in many major films including: High Society, Guys ‘n’ Dolls and Pal Joey, becoming an international superstar. American Music critic Robert Christgau called him “the greatest singer of the 20th Century”.
In “Sinatra – The Movie Songs” award-winning singer Robert Habermann sings the great songs and tells the story of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ hugely successful movie career, from band singer to iconic Oscar winning worldwide star. -

So where does Sinatra’s association with Christmas come from?
It goes right back to 1948, the year the LP format was introduced by Sinatra’s then record label, Columbia. That was when the 32-year-old man who would come to be known as ‘The Chairman Of The Board’ released Christmas Songs By Sinatra, the first Frank Sinatra Christmas album, arranged by the redoubtable Axel Stordahl.
Awarding Winning Robert Habermann conjures the spirit of the holiday season bringing Christmas to Life with Sinatra favourites such as Santa Claus is Coming To Town, Let It Snow, The Christmas Songs and of course the much loved White Christmas. These together with many of Frank’s iconic and instantly recognisable hits including: Come Fly With Me, Strangers in the Night, Fly Me To the Moon, The Tender Trap, One For My Baby, New York New York and many more.
